I miss mounted mapboards!

Now there's a heck of a statement, eh?!? I am talking about the type of games that use the small square unit counters, specifically.

Times are tight, have been for awhile now, so I can certainly understand many games manufactures wishing to cut overhead by printing their mapboards on paper and heavy cardstock...and some do a nice job with this; but on these type of games, I prefer when the mapboards are mounted on folding boards or solid dense-cardboard boards. Several games, like Lock 'N Load: Band of Heroes and Conflict of Heroes use the latter type of solid board, and I think I actually prefer this style over the folding type, as that seam always proved a bit troublesome to me at times (and a little unsightly).

SO weigh in here folks...what do you think?
