Re: Welcome to the World War II Gaming section!
Here are some in game screen captures from a few different sessions of Janes WW2 Fighters. This game is killer for an older game, go to this site and you can download hundreds of mods for it. If you are interested in getting this game and can't find one, let me know...I might be able to help.

Re: Welcome to the World War II Gaming section!
I play a lot of Panzer Elite on PC too. Here are the two links I use, Der Kampfpanzer is not the site it was 2 years ago (Kinda reminds you of another site Huh?) but it's still there. PEDG is alive and kicking with a lot of current enhancements coming out now with more in the works.
Der Kampfpanzer (Ostpak Mods) Der Kampfpanzer-Forum - Message Board - ezboard.com PEDG (Panzer Elite Developement Group) PEDG - Message Board - Yuku Here are couple of in-game screen shots I took: Panther at dusk M-26 Pershing in the snow with artillery barage in the foreground ![]() Both of these were taken while playing in the "Dusk" mode, I'll get you some better lit pics asap. Graphics aren't great compared to a lot of stuff out there but the playability is awesome! razorboy |

Re: Welcome to the World War II Gaming section!
It is awesome LT,
What you need to get is the PESE Panzer Elite Special Edition, that one contains the most current game engine and most of the Mods are bsed for that version. If you can't find one, pm me and we'll work something out. YOu'll love it, great game. rb |

Re: Welcome to the World War II Gaming section!
Cool pics gents.
I was given a copy of 'PanzerBlitz' when I was way too young to assimilate all the rules. It was still great...even if we made up simpler rules and used the boards and counters. I'm an old Steel Panthers man from years ago. Sadly, I never owned it but a good mate of mine did and I spent lots of time playing with him. Then we ended up sharing a house for a couple of years. I'm certain his then girlfriend hated me for monopolizing his time. Still...his choice, I just enabled him .I've tried dozens of games...I'm not a big first person shooter fan but I have Call of Duty...I think it's the first one. Too linear for me. My favourites are Silent Hunter II and IL2.

Re: Welcome to the World War II Gaming section!
Between RB talking about PE, and McCoy talking about IL-2...my head is spinning! Like, I need something else to obsess over? They both look so cool! I may succumb to these tantalizing games!!!

Re: Welcome to the World War II Gaming section!
Wow, I had no idea games had progressed so much over the years!
I think I need to re-evaluate not being a gamer. Now, where did I store my "Pong"?
