I like them a lot, especially the top one! And an interesting modelling project, actually! It could be fun to paint one up that way, no?

I've seen quite a few 'novelty' models at shows. My favourite was a 1/48 FW 190 with 1/35 88mm guns slung under the wings. The whole airframe was also coated with zimmerit and sported a three colour camo scheme.
