Re: Welcome to the new model section!

It was Aussie Dave that taught me. Poor guy pulled out half his hair in the process.

Re: Welcome to the new model section!

Wow...

I just went to another forum to check things out, and found this link. From now on, any maritime model I do will be securely mounted on the stock stand that comes with the kit.

Re: Welcome to the new model section!

That is excellent.

Bet you didn't know your new Model Forum moderator Lufttiger does excellent water scenes too.

Here is some of Lufttiger's own work:

The guy turns modelling into an art form.
(Sorry LT, but your stuff is too good not to share with others.)

Cheers,
Dave

Re: Welcome to the new model section!

That is quite good! Really! That should be an honest to goodness sticky tip!

You'll have to excuse me, though. I'm still in awe of the realism of the water pouring out of all the cracks and crevices. I can't do standing water worth a damn, so running water impresses the hell outta me!!!

Its a BIG diorama and there is more to see on it, but I don't want to take over this thread with more pics of it.

Dave

My God, Dave! That is just fantastic. Dude, you could and should be doing miniature sets for the film industry.
