Re: Workareas?

Thanks LT...yeah, I'm always hunting down that errant screwdriver or tape rule, even though I've tried to put together an "everyday" toolbox! That frustration is trying to be avoided by keeping an organized modeling area.....kinda like my Art studio. Nothing worse than having paint dry on your brushes as you hunt down the Cobalt Blue tube, you know?

Yeah Mag...the tools and "stuff" under the bench needs some cleaning out, probably. Some more bins are probably in order. I choose my battles. Thanks for the projection...at this rate, I'm collecting them faster than I can build them (just picked up 8 models at a show a couple weeks back).

Re: Workareas?

You've all had a hand in my new obsession...I hope you're all proud of yourselves?

My wife, by the way, thinks it's great...she's excited to see me retake up the hobby with such passion and thrill; and it keeps me out of her hair for a bit, too!

Re: Workareas?

Well of course we'll take pride in it. But don't you ever forget your visits to your missus hair or you'll be in deep trouble when she suddenly thinks that you put models ahead of her.

We modellers do it with models!

Re: Workareas?

Interesting thing when I talk to modellers and the subject of wives and partners comes up. I usually get one of two possible answers. Either; 'She's not interested', or I get 'She's happy for me to build models. It's a pretty cheap hobby and it keeps me at home'. The latter is my partner's attitude. She's happy for me to disappear for a couple of hours every night to do my thing. She even asks me how I'm going and tries to act interested. I appreciate her attempts anyway.

Re: Workareas?

Great pics there, Dave...and I think it's a cool that you included a shot of yourself...I'd post a pic of myself but, seeing two such handsome men in one thread may be a bit more than Heather can handle (you listening, Biscuit???)

Hey, is that a Busch Beer can I see in the lower corner...what am I thirsty, all of a sudden?
