Workareas?

We've seen some of the builders workplaces here in the forum but not all. It's interesting to see just how others have solved the problem with a suitable place to build n' paint for their hobby. n' the different solutions ranges from extremly portable budget style to extreme pro style with a whole shed built just for it. So it would be nice if you all could snap a couple of pictures of yer mess for us others to see n' post it here in this thread.

I'll start with my solution. I've got some trouble to have a permanent place to build as I live in a two room apartment at 61 squaremeters. So I've gone with a chiffoné as my build area n' a foldable camping table on the side so I'm able to stow it away when I'm not buildin'.

Re: Workareas?

Here are two pics of my space. I'm fortunate enough to have a whole room. The first pic shows where I build. The cylindrical blue object on the top right is the motor for my pedal controlled motor tool. The second pic shows my building desk as well but the other desk is for airbrushing. The compressor is under the table. Sorry the pics are bad...lighting is a problem down there and my camera sucks.

Yeah...it's hard to find stuff sometimes and I clean up once a year.

Re: Workareas?

You mean that you've organized your workplace so no one except you will find what you're lookin' for n' then just barely so you're triggered to clean it up once a year when even you can't find stuff...

Very true. I was thinking earlier...when I vacuum the floor I think I could get about a kilogram of sprue bits and shavings...if only there was a market for scrap styrene.
