Re: Groupbuild?
A nice n' challengeing topic for a speed build could be.
Build an old kit OOtB (at least 25 years old kit, preferable older)

LT, please specify what time frame you are talking about on this "Open Build", 1933 - 1945 or what? I'm assuming as this is the "World War 2 Zone" that any and all builds would be from that era? Ja? rb |

Re: Groupbuild?
I like the WWII theme, but eventually its gonna get old.
I like an artillery idea? A small "open" build, but than a longer, more serious, subject build? Flammpanzers and other flame stuff? Supply vehicles? US Amry stuff? SS stuff?

Re: Groupbuild?
I don't have any old kits as such but...I do have a couple of Airfix kits (Avro Lancaster & Short Stirling) where the molds used to make them are bloody ancient. Do they count as being "OLD" models? (They will be a challenge because they both have raised panel lines and a lot off flash around the parts and not forgetting to mention warping.) Cheers, Dave

Re: Groupbuild?
That could also be a good choice for a speedbuild.
Build an Airfix 1:72 kit OOtB
