Cool Re: Group Build 8 week! 25 yr old kit! $$PRIZE

Thanks McCoy and cyberia, I know I go "all out" to much sometimes (WWII games anyone, on or off the net!!), so I am trying to reign myself in here a bit, usually does'nt work though......

Cheers, lets see how many games I can finish before I figure this out.

Tom, to much to do and never enough time and tech!! AARRGG....

Nice work folks...Paul is right. No BS...I love it.
Again...probably shouldn't commit myself right now. There'll be other builds.

Are we going for three judges? I can get in on any of the builds as judge but with my Hornet I will not be building much myself

Do we post pictures here as we go ? Also, is it alright to ask others advice on what to do e.g. painting, weathering etc. or do we stay in the bunker and broadcast from there ?

First there are no judges in either build, its by popular vote only, and in
case of a tie, we have Cyberia who has agreed to be the tie breaker.

Second this is and will always be a place to learn more techniques and how
to become a better modeler, so i say let the questions fly. I'm more than
willing to give out my secrets, the few i have anyway.

Third, its up to guys if you want to post your progress pics here? or start
your own thread and keep track of it? I leave that one up to you guys.

Oh and finnally, You must have alot of fun!!. I know i am.

Re: Group Build 8 week! 25 yr old kit! $$PRIZE

Personally, I'd really like to see what people are doing as they do it as far as is possible anyway. I like the ideas that have been put forward and the way the 'format' is shaping up. Two builds are great...especially the longer one. I'm so slow. I'd like to see all entries in the same thread for my part. I agree with Luft as well about sharing ideas and techniques...that's how we collectively improve our skills and thus hopefully, enjoy our hobby even more. I LOVE the whole notion of openness...to be honest, I enjoyed the builds we did elsewhere when I participated. This forum is much looser and more spacious. As Luft said before...we don't need rules. Just guidelines.
Best of luck to all who participate. I'm really looking forward to the show.
Peace.
