Question Visitor Message

Quick question...under the Public Profile of a user, I notice a lot of new members have no Visitor Message yet, and I was wondering how you go about posting one for them?

Re: Visitor Message

There should be a text entry box on the profile page if the user has enabled visitor messages. If one is not there then visitor messages are disabled at the user's choice.

Re: Visitor Message

Ahhhhhh, that explains a lot! Thanks! I saw plenty of profiles where the box was there, and only recently noticed quite a few where it is apparantly disabled. I can't help but wonder if the users in fact disabled it knowingly, or by accident. I guess its all to different preferences, but I personally see no reason to disable it, but, to each their own.

Re: Visitor Message

Visitor messaging should be enabled by default according to the way I have user registration set, but there could always be a bug in the software.

Re: Visitor Message

Looks pretty straight forward to me. Guess my memory is a little on the bad side, considering it's not all that long since I registered!

LOL. The option to turn it on and off was only recently added (I don't remember which version it was) and may not have been available when you registered.
