They find quite people scary and unusual because most people like to talk. I have often seen this and have often wondered this my self.

Interesting what threatens folks.
Empty vessels make the most noise. Those 'full' vessels might just have us pegged eh?
Peace.

:welcome: Because the quiet types don't talk as much its harder to gauge them and know what they are really like.

As a race, humans have a proven track record of not trusting and being fearful of the unknown.
(The "unknown" can include other people as well.)

Rational or not, :welcome: its just a survival instinct we all have built into us and is perfectly normal.

Cheers,
Dave

People who are quiet are harder to read and people don't like that.

You have to watch the quiet ones because you can't listen to them ?

I've just come from the 'Quote Zone' and seen the other quote by this Elbert Hubbard guy. Who was he? He seems like a pretty wise fellow to me.

C'mon Bill, I'll just bet you're the quiet type.

It's Wiki, but gives a basic idea as to who he was.

Quite a guy. Great artist too. Bummer to die on the Lusitania though.
This should be in 'Quote Zone' but it fits here; 'Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt'.
Peace.

I thought so...so am I.
