Another unexpected death. I'm wondering if this stemmed from the hard landing he experienced shortly before. Apparently luggage from the carry on racks fell on his head, but he didn't seem fazed by it.

Way too young to die. RIP Billy.

I'm glad I'm not exactly "50"....50-year olds seem to be dying this week.

I turn 50 in just over three weeks and I'm just a tad worried...

RIP Billy.

I've been watching the show Pitchmen and it's not a coincendece I'll just pass up. I kinda thought Billy Mays was funny. Makes me wonder who's going to take his place.

RIP Billy

Its possible that blow to the head could have caused a blood clot. I heard
he was a real nice guy too. RIP Billy.

Latest is that they suspect a heart condition, the bump on the head may have been an odd coincidence......not conclusive yet.

The postmortem exam revealed no evidence of traumatic head injury but did show hypertensive heart disease. The odds are he died like lots of men do in their 50's - from sudden cardiac death related to previously unknown coronary artery disease.

@Mike - I hear ya.

@Bill - The only thing worse than being 53 would be to not have gotten there.
