What colors were British/Commonwealth/Polish AFVs painted for the Sicilian and Italian campaigns? Khaki? Bronze Green? Desert tan? some of each?

As most of the equipment came from North Africa the majority was still painted light stone with green over spray.

How about equipment brought in later, from Britain or elsewhere?

Equipment brought in after Sicily ,ie ;hitting the beaches of sunny Italy, would be of the olive green colour as the lend lease toys started to show up and replace the desert warriors, but I am sure that there were a few desert warriors kept around. Check post on Canadian paint chips for the colours as they would have followed Commonwealth directions for paint colours.
