It has something of the look of the Stuart about it. This would have given a Pz I a run for its money, but doesn't quite look the class of the II

i think this is the model that was originally fitted with two machine guns and the round thing was the mount for the other mg, they made only a limited number of these and changed it as they were not powerful enough and added a cannon, another interesting fact is this tank was the first model tank to have a diesel engine.

Is that a 37mm or 40mm cannon?

bishop, that is i think a 20mll cannon they were also fitted with a bofors WZ 37mll gun, source wikipedia type in 'polish 7tp tank' good info on there

Its a Bofors High velocity 37mm cannon

What is also interesting is that there's another tank chassis in the background of the photo with the guy talking on the phone. Is that a latter T series tank, 55 or beyond?

The Tin Can holds the coax 7.92mm MG.

This version of the 7TP was one of only 132 produced with the 37mm gun.The other version with the twin MG's had 2 turrets, one for each gun.

Yup, it is a chassis of a T-55 that will be re-made into a Tiger 1. This group of guys are the same ones that change the German Hotchkiss into nice looking Panzer 2's.

How cool is that. It would be nice if they could put the Idler on the front, I've seen a number where its remained on the rear... the BofB for example. Still, they do a good job of these now days so the more the merrier

Panzer C thanks for pointing out my mistake that tank did indeed have two turrets.
blackie and bishop appoligies that gun did not look big enough in my eyes to be 37mll
