I was going to join the Navy.
Let me tell you what they said!
"Like to have you with us, son,
But we found your folks were wed!"

Then I thought about the Army
Now isn't that a gas!
If you want to be promoted,
You just cut the colonel's grass.

My buddy is in the Air Force,
And I thought I'd go there too.
But who wants to look like a crossing-guard,
And wear that Air Force blue?

I'm not tall enough for the Coast Guard
For a reason that is sound.
If ever a Coast Guard "boat" should sink,
They don't want the crew to drown.
