"The sound of music"

Sooner or later this thread had to come: "What are you listening to?"

I'll make a start:

Alice Cooper, Johnny Cash, Rammstein, BB King, Joe Cocker, Depeche Mode, AC/DC, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Flogging Molly, The Doors, Subway to Sally, Frank Sinatra and so on...

Now it is your turn...

Re: "The sound of music"

Well, I partially answered in another thread about old Eric Clapton music. I also enjoy older Rolling Stones music, Grateful Dead (old recordings of live shows), The Cars, U2, Talking Heads ("this is not my beautiful house, this is not my beautiful wife...how did I get here"), The Police, Aerosmith, and too many others to recollect for now.

Re: "The sound of music"

im a little different when it comes to this area. lol. believe it or not i love old stuff. 70s, 80s. I love motley crue, acdc, creedence clearwater, beatles, led zeppelin. Im big in the metal scene. Slipknot, Trivium, slayer, rammstein. Rammstein is a great german band. not sure if any of you have heard of these guys but there fun to listen to lol. BUt anything rock or metal ill listen to it. but hey, i like simon and garfunkel. My dad was in charge of their concert once apon time ago. little pointless fact: the song "Puff the magic dragon." is not about drugs. The land of hanalei is pronounced with an "A" sound instead of an "E" sound at the end. It is a very beautiful town on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. There is a mountain there called "the sleeping dragon". that mountian is where he got inspirtation to write that song.

Re: "The sound of music"

Well Right now? I am listening to Bobby Darin. I like some of the old fellows such as Frank and Dean, etc. I like Train, Blue October, Zep, Branch, Disturbed, McGraw, etc. I am very open when it comes to listening to music. I'll pretty much listen to anything except rap, and emo/punk crap. =)

Re: "The sound of music"

And here I was thinking that this was going to be a discussion on Christopher Plummer, Julie Andrews, and Salzberg!

Maybe they can march right into North Korea and disarm that nut.
