Re: Does anybody...

Nein! Sie ist teuer!

I can't afford books I want right now. I don't have time for any other hobbies, so I can't spend money I don't have on things I don't need!

Someday, though, I have a plan for 3-4 of them. I found a place that has a lot of after-market items. The guy said he'll make cuff titles for me.

I want:
one Artillerie Offizier with a NORD cufftitle
one Gebirgsjäger Unteroffizier in M40 uniform with a MICHAEL GAIßMAIR cuff title
one Jäger with camouflage smock with REINHARDT HEYDRICH cuff title
one Schijäger with NORGE cuff title

Anybody see the trend there??

Is that, dungeons and dragons? If so, why?

Re: Does anybody...

No, I'm talking about the 12 inch figures from WW2. Something like that:

I bought one myself an wanted to know if somebody owned one as well.

You can see some at DiD WW2 Figures (1:6 Scale): WarToyZ.com if you're interested to know more.

Re: Does anybody...

Thanks for the link. Looks like I picked up another nasty collecting habbit. Not as expensive as collecting the real thing but expensive enough. Perhaps wehen I quit smoking I could afford it a litle better.

I knew about the Corgi items but not these ones. I would assume there are other companies out there making these too eh?

Re: Does anybody...

GI Joes are about the closest thing I collect, but those Dragon figures are gorgeous. I would refrain from collecting them personally, as I already sink enough hard earned cash into games, miniatures, models, and other stuff.

I have Joes from the 60's and onward; I have some rare German Joe's that were sold overseas; and I have a couple of the famous generals Joes.

You want to get the 12' Lara Croft - Tomb Raider action figure to keep your Joes company.

I remember seeing it in a shop once and marvelled at her body shape.
(Believe me, she was like a majorly silicone-enhanced Barbie doll.)

Cheers,
Dave
