A near Winter's end Rant!

Anyone else had enough of snow, blizzards, below zero temps, winter driving, salt caked cars, icy driveways, hearing the word wind chill factors, splitting firewood, lost gloves, cold factories where you are supposed to work while shivering, flus, colds,dry skin, bulky winter coats.....and everything ELSE associated with this miserable season?


That TEARS it! I am moving to the TROPICS when I retire! Typhoons, oppressive jungle heat, mosquitoes, jungle rot, malaria......I can take ALL that over snow!

YES I am ready for SPRING to SPRUNG already!!!

Not to rub slat in your wound, because it was only in the mid 30's for a high today, but it has been warm here of late and we have daffodils in sunny spots and some fruit trees are blooming. Of course that will end in the next few days but we'll see it all for real in about a month or so. I don't miss northern winters.

30 degrees! thats T-shirt and flip-flop weather! we been in the single digits for a week now.....before that it was the teens. Then the tornado in January.....weird weather here!

I wear sandals in summer and boat shoes in the winter around here. It's a rare day that I even need socks.

BTW, thanks, Chuck! That snow you got? It started snowing here within 30 minutes of me hanging up. Great.

Gonna be 63 tomorrow. What is that 'snow' stuff? Just kiddin,we get about a 1/2" a yr. (maybe) No real winter here.:smile:

We just got hit be a storm that covered the entire East Coast...freezing rain, snow, sleat....the works! School was closed, God knows how many accidents....yeah...Winter can leave now...
