Next up is Combat Casey #11 - Aug 1953, from the late Atlas comics, which would evolve into the mighty Marvel comics. This was from the time of the Korean War, and the enemy of freedom had changed from evil nazi's and Japs to those Chicoms. By todays standards, these comics were very racist in their depiction of North Koreans and Chinese! :

Next up is Captain Steve Savage #6 - Aug 1952, from Avon Publications. Look at Captain Steve go! That MiG is getting hosed by Steve! More Chicoms bite the dust under the forces of good!
