Re: Any thoughts on Kangaroo Island?

You know Kangaroo Island may be nice, but visiting it will also mean you will proverbly be staying in Adelaide for a few nights.
(What a hole.)

Cheers,
Dave

Good point about Adelaide.

Apparently the Sherbrooke council is the one where cats are banned.

That would make sense...we have friends in Sherbrooke with a cat. They may not know the rules though. Let me know when you're over here mate...maybe we can catch up for a beer or a coffee? Ever been here before?
Glad to see you've discovered the local migrant cuisine Biscuit. Don't kebabs just ROCK 'N ROLL?? We used to live in the big middle-eastern area of Brunswick and Coburg. Turkish/Lebanese food is really the only thing we miss living out here. What's your feeling on 'baklava' assuming you've tried it?

Re: Any thoughts on Kangaroo Island?

Early April but only for a short time so I will see what's happening. I have been before but only for a weekend. I am so glad the footy is back on too.

Kebabs are ok but VB ? That's a joke isn't it ?

I haven't had baklava yet and will definately give you a call when I get to Oz, or maybe a little before.

Re: Any thoughts on Kangaroo Island?

VB - Visitors Beer - what you give the relatives when you don't want them to visit for too long.

VB - Very Bad.

And so on....

Still, I don't drink beer anymore so I suppose it's alright if you like it.

Thats what I call VB as well.

Still, all American beer sux so I would suppose VB would still taste nice to them.

Cheers,
Dave

Re: Any thoughts on Kangaroo Island?

Biscut. If you come to Adelaide, get in touch. KI is OK but there are other places to go that are easier to get to and far less expensive. As to Aussie Dave's attitude to Adelaide, bloody right, imagine how I go being a Vic and a Magpie.

VB is total crap. Bogan Juice we call it. Now anything by Coopers is worth coming to the big country town.
