Resignation

Kameraden,

After a good bit of soul searching, I have submitted my resignation as moderator to Jim. He was gracious enough, and understanding enough to accept it.

My schedule of late allows me very little time on the internet. Some may have noticed that I have not visited here for some time. I realized that I was unable to properly perform my duties as a mod, which was not fair to Jim, or the other members of the board.

I am also going to submit a similar resignation on another board, though I will keep my position on Feldgrau. Sorry, but I put a lot of effort into that one, and I've been part of that board for some years now. While I will maintain membership, and try to post, I'm going to limit myself to Feldgrau and our union forum at work.

I want everyone to understand that there is absolutely no dissatisfaction on my part with this operation, or any member of it. I know that I have had some run-ins with a couple of you over on Feldgrau, but I can assure you, those incidents did not 'follow' you here. It is simply a matter of very limited time.

I'll be back from time to time, but it won't be often. Maybe if things change back to the way they were, I can spend more time here. Hell, I have an article almost written that was originally meant to be posted here, so I have to come back at least long enough to post that!

Why not tell the truth Tom....you got caught surfing Porn at work and lost your internet privledges.

Actually, I just found out last night that a guy did get fired for viewing porn sites at work. I don't know how long it took him to visit 4000 of those sites, but he got caught!

I did accidentally hit some porn sites when I was helping Christian with his WWIILD project, but I clicked off those as soon as they came up!!

I'm sorry to hear that, Tom. But you won't leave us completely, after all.

But let's take a look on the bright side here. Now we can make fun of Tom in the "Staff"-Forum and he even won't notice.

Doesn't this just figure. Now that I've resigned as a moderator, I've gotten to spend more time here in the past three days than I have in the past three weeks!

I wonder if it'll last....
