Cartoon Heroes

If you had to pick a cartoon character to be your hero/role model, who would it be and why?

My personal choice would have to be Bugs Bunny. He never picks a fight but always stands up for himself. More often than not he uses his enemies stupidity against them. Plus he only resorts to violence when necessary and when he does, he's funny as all hell.

Re: Cartoon Heroes

That would've been my first choice too, so i'll go with the Road Runner, love his speed!

Not exactly a TV cartoon charactor, but my favorite cartoon charactor is Herbie. From the WWII publication Maple Leaf Up.

I don't think I have ever seen or heard of that one. Do you have a pic you can post?

Re: Cartoon Heroes

Herbie the VW Beetle... Haha, saw those movies as a kid n' laughed a lot.

As for a hero for myself, hmm, why not Pfc. Beetle Bailey. Well he's smart n' more often than not goes out with Miss Buxley...

Re: Cartoon Heroes

Can I pick two for one? Tom and Jerry. They fought incredible batltles with an outsized enemy and yet overcame a lack of logistics and intel with their brilliant innovations. (And no, I still haven't got a clue how to post a pic)

Re: Cartoon Heroes

I'd have to go with Marvin the Martian too.

Re: Cartoon Heroes

It's more of a comic but i'd choose pig and rat from pearls before swine. rat is just an ass and pig reminds me of myself. he falls for a lot but he deals with it.
also... i know we were only supposed to pick one but again... i choose another comic... the predator. hands down he is my favorite. i usually side with the bad guys but he could go either way depending on which planet he's on.

Re: Cartoon Heroes

The Predator is definitely my favourite screen/comic alien.
