Looking for some ideas on shipping my Jeep home!

In the fall I am heading straight for Oz and would like to ship my Jeep back to Texas from somewhere near Boston. The trouble I am running into is finding a company that I can drop it off at. They all want me to available from 5-7 days for pick-up or pay an insane fee, but I'll have to get it off Martha's Vineyard on my own and might as well drive home myself if I am going to have to wait around in a hotel room for a week.

Does anyone have any experiences or suggestions?

It sure sounds like it would be cheaper and more time efficient to just drive it to Texas yourself. You'll be there in less than the five days you'd have to wait.

It looks like I might be doing that, but with gas costs its only about an extra $300. The drive is long and nasty and nobody can make it with me this time, so I thought this might be an option.
