Ted Kennedy

Whatever one's politics, our hearts have to go out for the man and for his family. He was diagnosed with a malignant glioma (brain tumor) today. While they haven't released the specifics, most of these tend to be grade 4 (of 4) meaning the most malignant variety.

Agree with him or not, he has spent the last 46 years representing the state of Massachusetts in the US Senate and lost three of his older brothers to violent deaths when he was a young man. He chose to devote his life to public service when he could have used his wealth to simply create more wealth for himself.

I know that I will have him, his wife, and his children in my prayers.

Re: Ted Kennedy

I saw that on the news budget from work. Sad, that family has been through so much.

I despise the man's politics, but that's a lousy thing to happen. Too much tragedy in that family. In addition to the three brothers, don't forget Kit dying in the plane crash.

Re: Ted Kennedy

His older son (Ted Kennedy Jr.) was also treated for cancer as a child and he has seen several nephews die too young as well.

Wether you agree with him or not. Ted Kennedy has served his country. I wish him the best.

A very sad turn of events. He and his family will be in my prayers.

I don't wish anything bad on the man, but since I can remember, whenever my mom here's his name she always follows up with "What comes around goes around" (in reference to Chappaquiddick).
