Re: what did you have for dinner

A comfort food of choice from New Brunswick is Poutine Rappes, which is basically a baseball sized potato ball with salt pork in the center, which is boiled. Doesn't sound to appetizing in word like that, but on the plate in from of you, I couldn't get enough. Some folks put butter on them; some, molassas; others sprinkle sugar on them. How ever you eat them, a touch of salt, and it's heaven.

Tonight, I had leftove Taco Cassarole; but the wife slipped some Turkey meat in it. Tasted great, until she told me the turkey was frozen leftovers from Thanksgiving last November. I hope I see you all tomorrow!

That Poutine Rappes sounds a lot like Pitepalt. As for the 8 month old taco salad, I hope to see you here tomorrow too!

Re: what did you have for dinner

Well, it was Taco cassarole from a few nights ago, but spiked tonight with 8 month old turkey, but who's counting. Still, it doesn't look hopeful for me.

Re: what did you have for dinner

Heidi just picked up pizza on the way home. The remodel is humming along here and we have no time to cook, nor space to cook in right now.

Why is it when you work on one room, four others get filled up with crap?

Thank you, man! And hey, that's just what I thought...Turkey AGAIN???? (I wasn't stupid enough to say it to the missus though, or it could very well make a third showing tomorrow night)...Thanksgiving turkey again...what are the chances? I mean, I'm only Human man! SO I do ask..."Hey hon....is this the same turkey, you know....", and she says, "Yeah, I'm trying to use it up now that it's defrosted". I think she figured out I'm worth more dead than alive....Insurance, and all that!

It's my own fault really; I could have checked the freezer and spotted the infamous bird remains, but noooooooooo.

Re: what did you have for dinner

Had Wendys tonight in Scranton. The dog was with us and after the infamous lobster tank fiasco we no longer take into restaurants with us.
