Re: what is your military pet
I have four dogs. The one at my feet all the time is the youngest, a Pug named George. He follows me around all day long. He's snoring away on the couch in my office right now.
george.jpg The one who likes to go in the car and to the beach, etc, is a 14 year old Golden Retriever named Lady. She's deaf as a haddock but loyal and an absolutely wonderful animal. We've had her since she was about six weeks old. lady.jpg

Re: what is your military pet
Great looking pups there! Most times, I like animals more than I like people. Did I just admit that to millions???
These are the two boys...Pepper (on the right) and Twizzler (on the left). Both Maine Coons, and lovable as all get out. They are brothers, and my wife and I rescued them from a harsh New England Winter, as they had been abandoned as kittens. When we took them in, we brought them to the vet that very day, as they each had nasy colds, wheezing, and fleas. Their first day with us, each cuddled in our arms (Pepper in mine, and Twiz in my wife's), and they each slept for roughly 5-6 hours! Thought our arms would fall off, even though they were small kittens. That moment with them created a bond...Pepper to me, and Twiz to my wife Karen...that still lasts a decade plus later; each respective cat own's their respective human. And yes, they ARE better gamers than me!!! The opportunity to lounge on the felt cover, which I place on the dining table when I game, is always too much a good thing for them to pass up! Not to mention moving the pieces, lying on the cards and charts, swapping at the dice (and coming up with better rolls to be...scoundrels!), drinking my water when I'm not looking, and laughing at me when I lose (no, they really do!). I'll post pics of the other puss, our girl cat Zena, soon.
