I'd just like to say...

UP THE IRONS!

Just got back from Iron Maiden in concert at Irvine Meadows. This is the 2nd time for me but this time it was all classic stuff... Even Rime of the Ancient Mariner...

My ears are ringing, I'm losing my voice, my feet hurt, I'm dead tired, but I was in the presence of Heavy Metal Gods. It was well worth it!

Lauren Harris... (Steve Harris's daughter... REOW!) and her group...

Anthrax...

and then Maiden... it was a loooong and AWESOME night.

If you see Ed Force One landing at your local airport... well Eddie is in town!

I'll get ya started... gotta find ones from that night... Just look for that stage set up... Don't see any from the 31st... Specially when Bruce was catching Beach balls (and this huge ball!) and throwing them back out at the crowd... and then making fun of a security guy who kept catching them and deflating them.
YouTube - Iron Maiden - "The Trooper" (Live)

MOST OF ALL!

I've never heard 20,000 people yell out Churchill's speech ever in my life... it was eerie. They started off with that with videos of Churchill and people and soldiers in Britain... and then when they were playing the intro, videos of Spits and Hurricanes starting up and taking off.

Are you kidding... everyone was singing... Must have been off key on the 30th because last night the crowd seemed to be spot on!
