I visit here around twice per day for around 10 minutes. When I sign in and out, the same people are online, 24 / 7? Is there a net addiction to this forum?

I noticed the same thing, however, nothing wrong with it taking into consideration my own habit of opening WWII in Colour Forum, checking and dropping it down just to come back easily after two three hours.

There is an addiction, no doubt...
I can say that when I will divorce because of the Forum, I will think about suing Jim.

You probably won't get much, so take it one step further for full satisfaction:

Well, as of this post, I can see that the permanent log-ins aren't. There are only 3 logged in right now.

I'm still having trouble with the "New Posts," though...

Hey, I'm not that intrusive! Instead of moving in, I would just set up a tent in front of Jim's house with Portaloo nearby...
And on nearest tree I would hang camping bag shower and enjoy it stark naked.

I bet Jim would go to his bank manager to get rid of me!

The reason that you might see this is that the cookie set by the site lasts 21,600 seconds or six hours. So someone who visits just four times a day (equally spaced) and does not log out on leaving will appear to "always" be here. That time period was chosen based on the activity and load level of this site and other sites on the same virtual private server and also security considerations. If the forum becomes busier over time it will likely need to be dropped.

The IP that you are posting from lately may be is a proxy server? That could explain the current issue for you as no one else has mentioned it.
