Your desktop!

A forums staple with simple rules... Post yer desktop in either its awesomness or messiness... Luckily I just cleaned mine up.

Re: Your desktop!

I don't know how to do a screen dump like that (I'm over thirty) but I use a few. Currently, I'm using this by M.C. Escher.

But I sometimes use this too...among others.

Pressing the "Print Screen" button takes a capture of the screen and puts it on the clipboard. You can then simply paste it into a new file in any graphics program.

Re: Your desktop!

LOL in the old days... print screen did just that (printed whatever text was up). In windows it pastes an image of what is fed to your monitor into your clipboard. Take it into paint (or other image editor) and paste. Walla its there. Save and post!

Love Escher, I don't get hardcore about him, but I certainly enjoy his work.

Re: Your desktop!

Even worse, as I seldom see the desktop I'll give you a hint on what I'm most often see due to my surf habits.

I'd love to post mine from work, but they don't allow us to have graphics programs on our machines.
