Arrow The Favre-less Packers, HHMMM........

The first pre-season game is going on right now, and Aaron Rodgers does'nt look to bad, yet. LOL. So I know there are some other football fans here, so what are your opinions on this potential Packer "problem"??

Cheers, yes, anyone??

Cheesehead Tom

Right now I say hopefully 8 and 8 season, best case!!

Brett was really begining to worry me. I feared for his sanity. One of the greatest but a bit off. Steve Young, in my opinion, the greatest ever.

Thanks for the reply, I really wonder what the real deal was with all of this, was Favre forced out as he said before it was his time, who knows, but it's to late now.

Cheers, your thoughts on Rodgers might be?

Tom

Re: The Favre-less Packers, HHMMM........

Well, regardless....the Jets can really use him. By mid-season, they could be a force to recon with. I guess it depends on how the Jets receivers relate to him. A couple have already said the rumors of how hard he throws are true, and they are doing extra hand strengthening conditioning to compensate....says a lot about what the Jets receivers were used to! I like Brett....I am puzzeled why this all happened though.

Well I think Bret was ranked #2 in the NFL last year in QB stats. But the Jets???? Would think he would wanna finish his string out near home in Mississippi. (Saints,Bucs,Falcons) Ms. Traci (Raider and Giants) fan

The Jets were a kinf of wierd pic, but where they are located in good old New York may have had something to do with it, like maybe the wife....WINK LOL

I see Brett already has a tired throwing arm, but we'lle see Saturdya when he plays. I'll miss the game, but there should be a news report or two I think on this after work!!

Cheers, the pack are 0-1 in pre-season, but kinda what I figured, I do hope the defense gets better!!!

Starting offensive line looked like it could use a little 'tweaking' also.

Roger that, I saw a lot of potential "problems" in that game, to be expected I think to all the junk that went on, but it could have been a lot worse, don't ya think my fellow Cheesehead......??

Yeah you're right Tom. My biggest concern is Rogers durability, or lack of. He's played regular season games twice and came out of it both times banged up, and with just two rookies backing him up things could get real ugly real fast. Ah well, even if that should happen we've had a good run.
