Question About Terminology

I'm wondering if anybody is able to please explain to me the difference between 'Mechanized' infantry and 'Motorized' infantry. Does 'mechanized' imply half-tracks/APCs while 'motorized' refers to trucks?
Thanks and peace.

You all ready have it

Thats a right assumption. Ironically don't let panzergrenadiers fool you. Usually the 1st battalion was set into half tracks most of the others were in trucks if they had them...

Lightbulb Re: Question About Terminology

Panzergrenadier/Grenadier were terms used as a moral boost for German WWII Infantry, although real PzGren Units were common enough. Don't recall when it changed.
