Welcome to the Zone! First off, please refrain from usin' Caps Lock as it makes the text harder to read n' follow.

Second off, to yer question, I guess that you could call the slopin' sideplates for schürzen on the Tiger I.

Yes there was some development of schurzen for the tiger 1. They were going to be very similar to the armoured skirts for the e-100, maus etc. Here are some photo's of the mounting points for the suggested modification. These however were abondened

Thanks Pirate-Drakk mate. The mounts look very similar to the mounts used on the late pz4 j or really late stugs in regards to the 'thoma sheilds' im hoping someone might be able to confirm this. Hagen or Mccoy want to have a go

Re: PzKpfw VI TIGER / SdKfz 181 & "Schürzen ???

Hm that would be hard to say warry. The only really descent reference for tiger tanks is the series by Jentz and Doyle, My 3 have been stolen but are being replaced i have not seen any line drawings, photo's etc of a tiger with the sideskirts fitted and more than likely there wont be. It will be hard to find the info your looking for these are the only three photo's i know of. There may be one in a private collection but as to getting that photo i dont know where to start
