The bigger they are...

This wrecked Maus was the result of demolition rather than action. Destroyed by its own rather than allowed to fall into enemy hands intact.

Not sure this counts, but a captured, then "re-captured" interesting fighting machine that the Russians "got back" from an overrun and bombed German railhead......... I think in the later days of the war on the Eastern front, needless to say.
