 Destroyed Panthers on the tracks. The one in the foreground was destroyed from the flank by Soviet antitank guns. Photo April 1944, near Cherkassy.

  Two views of a knocked out KV-1B heavy tank. The crew of the SS assault gun has pistols at the ready in case a surviving crew member is hiding inside. February 1944, Cherkassy pocket.

I'm still scratching my head. It looks like an eagle on a shield. There is a piece of scrap iron on the fender that makes the middle of the eagle look white.
