ok after some digging round tiki was one of the first 9 tigers delivered to das reich and the 8th company was created just before the battle for kharkhov. these photos are a part of the fuhrers birthday celebrations dated 20/3/43 after this the company was moved to bielgorod. on the 20/4/43 tiki was renumbered 833 and then was again renumbered S34. there is some discrepency over the camouflage it was either a base coat of dark grey or dark yellow with red brown camouflage there is also some rumor that the vehicle also had a complete coat of winter white wash with just the numbers visible. sorry guys thats all i can come up with

This appears to be some form of range zeroing of either the gun or the optics on a knowned range before mountin' the turrets on the hull.

You can really see the layout of the road wheels and how they set on the tracks. Also note the access covers for maintenance. Very unique angle of view on at Tiger I!

not far off mate its the gun training range for new tiger crews where they could get to know the gun etc i love this photo its one of my favourites would make a really good diorama this one

mcoy nice one mate a beutiful example of the waffle pattern zimmerit and two very early tigers from the initual production runprobably 43 there was reports one of these vehicles was sent bck to padderborn nice crisp photos to by the way excellent mate
