Re: Tiger I-One Tough Cat
Dead on the money Mccoy mate. this tiger is actaually a first company tiger of s Pzabt 501. They were the only ones to have the bosch headlight's mounted on bracket's on the glaciss plate. This feature was seen on the tiger's in september 42 and was another feild modification

Re: Tiger I-One Tough Cat
400 Shermans!!!! Actually you may be thinking of an action that happened on Aug 7th 1944 when Will Fey, Tiger #134, and other Tigers of 1/102 were securing the Vassy-Vire road near Chenedolle against attacks by 23rd Hussar, 29th Armored Brigade of the British 11th Armored Division. Where 15 Shermans, 12 armored reconnaisance vehicles, a PAK, and some halftracks were knocked out.

Re: Tiger I-One Tough Cat
I believe your info is incorrect on this one Cyberia. That looks NOTHING like Aberdeen but the buildings do resemble something in Europe. Furthermore, the two times I went to Aberdeen there was no Tiger at all (a major missing component to their collection) so this would have to be a new addition. It's possible that I am mistaken but I would say that tank is probably at Bovington or some other museum.
![]() It is a nice looking early Tiger in any case...

Chances are better that the original info is wrong. Since you have been to Aberdeen several times I'm taking your call over whoever originally tagged this one. Thanks P-D!!!
