Re: Tiger I-One Tough Cat

It's not at Aberdeen, but it could be the Tiger I from Aberdeen after the Germans fixed it up. I haven't seen it since they restored it. Is that light reflecting off the driver's visor or light passing through from the cut open sides?

Re: Tiger I-One Tough Cat

This the Aberdeen tiger (with the sides cut of the tank cutaway) that was fixed or restored by the Muntser museum in Germany. If you look at the loader's side of the turret it has a peice of steel plate welded to the side of the turret near the vision slits. The aberdeen tiger was the only tiger to have this done. The bovington tiger has full set of s-mine launchers and no plate welded to the turret sides

Re: Tiger I-One Tough Cat

Just curious. Would any of you guys be interested in a series of 14 photos on how a particular Tiger I and crew spent an afternoon re-supplying on the Eastern Front?

If not, I'll understand.

Re: Tiger I-One Tough Cat

Here in this thread, on a separate one?

After all 14 photos on one particular tank plus feed back might take up some space.

Re: Tiger I-One Tough Cat

I suppose you could start a new thread and title it 'in the quiet times' or 'the mundane tasks' or something similar to that line of thought mate
