Re: Growl of the Panther Tank

An unusual photograph of Panthers in an Italian train station
They appear to be pulling into an enclosed platform
Not what one would normally see of armor being loaded onto flatcars

Re: Growl of the Panther Tank

OK, now I see it. I guess I had to look at three times. The level the troops are standing on is the same as flatcars that you really can't see in the photo.

It now makes sense, even if I don't.

Re: Growl of the Panther Tank

hm the units will be hard but the first panther is a very nice panther a. its nice to see a photo of a panther with the brackets for the schurzen still intact it looks like it could be some where in europe interesting to not the ball machine gun and the muzzle brake still have the covers on. the bottem panther is a very early panther d note the twin headlights and the drum cupola its also intersting to note the front fenders have the brackets for the added on front mud gaurds very nice indeed

Re: Growl of the Panther Tank

Aside from the covered guns in that first photo, the crew seems pretty relaxed as well.
