![]() Fairly well known picture of a early Panther G. According to the book "Panzer Tactics" by Wolfgang Schneider, this picture was taken by war reporter Hermann and was captioned; "Goldap is once again in German hands. In an energetic attack, German armored formations have torn the East Prussian city of Goldap from the Soviets". In this picture the Panther has reached the edge of the city and covers against new Soviet attacks. Note "Ambush" camoflage scheme. |
