Question Re: JagdTiger

Any good battle reports out there from the Allied side, or German? There are some good books out, but sadly, I only have a modeling one right now, and some others that just touch on it in a story or memiour.

Cheers

Tom

Re: JagdTiger

There's Tiger's in the Mud, by Otto. But its very brief about the Jagdtiger
as he gets his late in the war, and describes only 2 actions with it.

I'm sure there must be more tho?

Question Re: JagdTiger

cyberia

That white(?) is a little off, is'nt it, compared to what it "might" have been when captured?

Cheers, love those pics!!

But one should also compare that to other pieces in other places, that is'nt to bad of a job, it just caught my wondering eye as "not quite right" is all....

Cheers, MAGNA, are we thinking alike? I beleave so!!

Re: JagdTiger

Well guys, those were my feelings as soon as I saw these photos. Only not just the white, I think the whole thing is off. My reason for posting it was to see how quickly others pointed it out.

Obviously that vehicle was re-painted after capture, with not much attention to matching the original colors. Compare it to the JagdPanther in the Panther thread, on display at the Imperial War Museum in London. I posted those two at the same time.

That one was also repainted, but in my opinion, with much more care taken to give a more accurate representation of how the vehicle actually looked.

I just found the comparison striking, and thought others might also.
