It does, but the thing is the SU-122 had no variants that went into mass production. This tank has smaller wheels and has weird panels on the side.

Re: Name That Tank

I give up. It's some sort of Russian self propelleg gun tank between the SU-152 and the ISU-152, and someone's dinked around with it. Is it perhaps an unknown tank used by Chekoslovakia, Ukraine or one of the baltic states?

Re: Name That Tank

Ah ha!!. Swedish by the look of it. A variation on the chassis of a Stridsvagen but obviously a later model. Probably one of the assault gun line from early to mid 1950's.

I think they were called IKV's or something like that.

Probobly. It doesn't even look like it's ww2. If that is the case may I request that we stick to WW2 tanks in this thread?

OK to be fair it is not WWII but if you look there's nothing says it has to be. But we've been floggin' this one long enough. AND Magna's dang close!!! It's a Swedish Infanterikanonvagn 103, circa 1957 I believe.

I picked it because it looked like several other SPG's.

How about we pass the torch to Nachtjager?

Re: Name That Tank

Would that be two pictures of the huge German 600mm self propelled mortar nicknamed "Karl" (or in this case Adam and Thor)?
