It's interesting how many photos you have recently posted regarding the work of saboteurs. While partisan activity was certainly well known in occupied Soviet territories, I wonder how much was aimed at the rail system, and how much ripple effect that had on German supply lines. Given the dependence on rail transport I'd guess that it was significant.

Jim, based on the photos on my desk I say the activity was significant and at times quite effective.

I have another 18 of them on the subject of partisans and sabotage yet to post.
Some may have been taken in Poland.
