Re: Reichsbahn Photos-Who, What, Where and When?

I don't think a picture goes by that I just wish I could reach into it and grab something. That guys hat in the previous picture for instance.

And a few more...

There is nothing of historical significance in that second one that I found mixed in the group, but for me there is something about it that just fascinates me.

Re: Reichsbahn Photos-Who, What, Where and When?

Something I didn't catch with this photo until today. In fact when it was posted elsewhere no mentioned it either.

The scene seems to be an inspection of some sort. That I knew. Today I took out the magnifying glass to have a closer more careful look at the original print before posting the scanned image.

I looked at the man in civilian cloths in the center of the photo. Then at the posturing of those around him. I then made an assessment of his stature.

Before I say anything, anyone else want to take a guess at who the smaller man in the fancy civvies might be?

Speer was a fairly tall. Think small man, big mouth.

Re: Reichsbahn Photos-Who, What, Where and When?

Hmmm, but I don't think he went out in public wearing civilian cloths after the war started. I'm thinking of someone else. I could be wrong, but...

I'm thinking Goebbels as well. That looks like the hat he wore a lot. He was also short and had a very big mouth.
