With all this talk about trikes, how about a heavily armed scooter...




American Assault Scooter



This one was actually on the drawing boards, I believe in the 1940s, until someone wisely canceled further development. A Scooter armed with a 75 mm M20 recoilless gun.

The thing that always has gotten me with this "device" it really looks like it should work!!!

As for the Scooter Shooter, can you image hundreds of these puppies being sold to people inclined to road rage??!!

Actually, yeah. But I have had to drive in New Jersey where such a thing would come in handy.

That scooter wasn't at all American but it was French n' they did in fact use 'em.

The site I found this on said American and never developed, but I'm finding out some of these sites are not very well researched. In which case part of the fun with these I think is debunking them.

Can you find photos of them in use by the French? I would like to see what they looked like other than that crappy drawing.

Well, gives us something to do. I came across three so far that are obviously photo shopped but being passed off as real. One of a Sherman I might go back and find to post just for grins.

I found an Interesting Swedish one last night as well. I'll upload it it and drop it in.
