Horch 1A / Kfz.18

Hello,
I have just played Call of Duty 3 and when I went to the bonus section, it gave me a german vehicle I have never seen before. Its called the Horch 1A / Kfz.18. This is the information they give about this vehicle:

Quote:
Light Utility Truck built by the Horch automobile company and employed by the german military from 1938 - 1945. It had 4 - 6 passengers.
I try to see information about this vehicle on Google, but theres barely any results. I tried Google Images and they show me scale models. Does anyone know anything about this vehicle or has any pictures of it. Thanks.

Sure do. I'll have to do scan from one of my books, and I'm a bit tied up right now. Have it up in a few hours

The two aboce are Gefechts-Kraftwagen (8-seater) Kfz.18

This is a Protz-Kraftwagen Kfz.69 which appears to be the same as a Kfz. 18.

Re: Horch 1A / Kfz.18

It's always struck me as such a cool vehicle. One of the best looking designs to me, though it is so oddly missing from film and TV, so it's no wonder many have never seen it before.
