Holy Crap that's amazing. Until he started to show how he did it I thought they were real photos. then I realized most of the building were corrugated cardboard.

It really does fool the eye, doesn't it? Amazing work, and so impressive. I wouldn't have believed they were not real life pictures until looking onward, either!

Waaaaaaaaaaay too clean though. I work with planes, I know how dirty they are... nasty little birds they are...

That's what I like about aircraft. They get dirty too. Imagine an airframe under heavy combat conditions using a dirt strip with nowhere near the maintenance regime your babies are subject to. Two or three sorties a day, maintenance at night...the weathering possibilities can be similar to vehicle models depending on the type...Soviet and Japanese aircraft especially.
