my very large diorama

well guys im in the process of doing a diorama based around trumpeters br52 and 2 dragon railway wagons the flat bed wagon will have a flak 38 t on a pz38 chassis the other wagon wil have stores etc the tender will have a 4 barrel 20mm flak gun on it and there will be kubel wagen with german mp's on the base lets just say at 1.6 mtres long and 30 cm wide its quite big i have only done the the wagons and tender in there base coat of black the real painting is yet to come i will let the photos talk more to come

I'd have trouble finding a spot for a 1/35th version of that!!

sorry should have said what scale that is 1/35 hehehe i think i worked outin a larger scale 1/6th it would have been over 2.5 mtres long and that is just the train and wagons

That Br52 is an awesome kit mate. I've seen a pic of it built for the 'EuroMilitaire' show in the UK a few years ago and it's still in my top five models by other people. I'm sure you're aware that Eduard have released no fewer than four PE detail sets for that kit. One day, I'll build it with all that lovely brass.

thanks mate yeh im aware of the brass but for once in my life im trying to build straight from the box the only good thing is i dont have much reference material on br 52's or i wouldnt be able to help myself

There's a thread on this forum dealing with the Reich's Lokomotivs...hope you don't find it
I can't build out of the box anymore. I usually build aircraft and the idea of not putting in some seat harnesses where they aren't provided seems odd to me. I've seen some sublime models but a lack of such an obvious feature seems silly given how easy they are to make. Just my taste of course.

all my other german armour and aircraft gets the brass or resin treatment this one was just such a big project that i figured if i got bogged down in the super detailing it would never get finished
