How about a picnic table and some doilies to go with the flowers?
Mind you, the wheel barrow sets off the whole thing. It wouldn't be the same if it was plain brown or similar. It really does show the contrasts that occur in any situation - even war. I wouldn't have thought of it myself - very well done. |

There' a beautiful diorama in one of my magazines of a Tiger 1 in a field of sunflowers. The base barely accommodates the model but the flowers are very tall. They reach almost to the line between the hull and turret. There are dozens of hand-made sunflowers all facing the same way...it's amazing. If I can find the mag, I'll post a pic. A little counter-point of colour can look great.
