Sounds about like what I was thinking...especially the reverse mapping. That's probably the most likely. I'll be interested to hear how Dreeke did it.

quite an strange looking tank. Terrific model. I am assumeing this was a russian tank, captured by the germans???

That's right. If I remember correctly, the Germans made their own improvements to some captured vehicles...like their own commander's cupola and notek light.
