Re: Tips and helpful suggestions

Oh yeah...me and molten metal...there's a disaster waiting to happen! I can't even comprehend going to that extreme, but that said, I admire those that do! I remember as a kid, I got this Christmas present that was this hot plastic extruder-type pumping jobby, that you hooked different nozzles on, to pump out these little plastic knick knacks...yeah, that would fly today (would never make it to the store shelves)!

OK...I be a wee bit gullible...was that an actual toy?

My brother got this snowman for christmas one year...styrofoam, abiyt 4 feet tall, hard plastic spikes all over the front so that when you threw styrofoam "snowballs" at it, it stuck, like a dart board in reverse. Yeah, that's fly today (pun intended!)!!!

Em, it's 'real' in my mind but that's the extent. I think I've said too much.

Do you guys remember those cool 'Childrens' Chemistry Sets your panents would buy you, complete with a varied assortment of poisonous chemicals, real glass test tubes and beakers?

(and NO, I didn't mean this type of "Beaker".)

Those Sets would be ripped from the shops shelves in a heart beat these days if they tried to re-release them.
(But I'm sure they wouldn't even get that far.)

Cheers,
Dave

Re: Tips and helpful suggestions

Oh goodness...do I ever! Had one! Had a microscope, too. Did I use it? Not very effectively; but at least I didn't grow a third nipple or blow up the family dog! I won't tell you how my Dad got rid of it!

Ever heard of Chemical Shakes for kids ? If it doesn't perk them up it'll blow them up.

Let's just say anyone doing some gardening in a certain patch of land may be growing some blue tomatoes! Of course, that's if memory serves (there's your out, dad!)...some of them chemicals altered reality for me in some ways, I'm sure!
