How does the drill work...manually twist it, or is there some trick to it, like a spring loaded shaft or something? I know it sounds like a funny question, but the little I've seen on adverts online don't really explain how it works.

The princip is the same as a fine electronic screwdriver. You twist it between your fingers in yer hand while the but rest in yer palm as it's loose. There's two twosided chucks in the shaft so you have a wide field of opportunities when it comes to the size of the drills yer gonna use.

Re: Tips and helpful suggestions

1. Lead trolling wire works great for hooking up radios

2. Cheese cloth makes great camo netting.

3. Tooth paste tubes are a good source of foil for flags and tarps.

4. 'Windex' window cleaner will remove most acrylic paints, especially Tamyia.

5. Acrylic gel mixed with static grass and pastels makes convincing mud.

6. To paint/weather your tracks, wrap them around a doubled-back roll of tape.

7. Take your time, it's suppose to be fun.

It's a braided fishin' line that have a core that consists of vismut. You can also use copperwire.

Re: Tips and helpful suggestions

The vismut holds shapes better and bends more easily though

8. Painters rags work better than paper towels, IMO, and they're cheap by the bag.

Maybe from a sportsmans store that specializes in fishing gear...or a Sports box store, like Dick's?

I picked up mine at a sporting goods store. Can't remember which one. Wire from broken electronic items works well also.
